The details were not skimped on in this kitchen. The custom cabinetry looks even more bespoke and charming with the addition of decorative furniture legs. By having the granite countertops leathered instead of honed or polished, we invited the natural contours of the stone’s surface to come through. A built-in granite shelf tops the backsplash behind the range providing both function and visual interest. We used aged brass and hand-rubbed black light fixtures for an added layer of timeless charm. While clean-lined and relatively simple in design, the custom-built plaster range hood brings an almost sculptural element into the space.
The continuous clear stained maple floors run the entire length of the main living area.This unbroken sightline gives the impression the space is larger than it is.

In addition to the pair of built-in small appliance cabinets for stashing away the coffee maker and microwave, the kitchen also features hidden appliances with panel-ready cabinet front.

Our love of all things vintage
Using vintage pieces in your design doesn’t have to mean settling for a space that looks cheap and broken down. At Stauffer Design Co., we have an eye for finding quality antique pieces and learning their history and their value to ensure they’re adding just the right touch of storied charm to your home.
Our goal for this bath was to make it soft, simple, and textured. The slate floors are a beautiful contrast to the white oak cabinetry. As the perfect pairing with the brass rain shower head and matching hand-held shower, we lined the shower walls with gorgeous Zellige tile. The handmade look adds a bit of shine without veering into sleek, contemporary territory.
In this bath, white oak custom cabinetry is gorgeous paired with leathered granite tops. The perfectly imperfect look of the Zellige tile and the slate floors balances the elegance of the free-standing tub and the contrasting paneling and trim.
With all the open shelving and closet space in this bathroom, there’s no need for a vanity. Instead, we chose this 48" trough sink with wall-mounted chrome faucets. It’s the perfect complement to the vintage charm of the green and greige checkerboard flooring. We topped it all off with an over-the-sink shelf for toiletries and pegs for conveniently hanging towels.
The mix of black and gold fixtures and hardware look classic, as does the free-standing tub. As the final touch, we selected contrasting shades of Benjamin Moore paint for the paneling and trim.
